Helping You Settle & Adjust
From the minute you arrive, we take care of you every hour of every day.

Our Commitment
Moving into a care home can be daunting. We ensure you feel comfortable and help you relax into your new surroundings.
We are mindful of the anxieties residents (and families) face when they move home into the unknown world of residential care.
We encourage you to bring small pieces of furniture and items of sentimental value with you to personalise your room. If your family are present, we suggest you take your time to unpack and arrange your room as you wish together.
As a new resident, you will meet with your dedicated key carer who has prime responsibility for your well-being and will support you during the settling-in period and beyond.
During the next few days, your ‘Care Plan’ will be discussed with you, family members, and your key carer as to how best we can assist you with the tasks you find difficult.
As we are not a nursing home, we cannot do everything for you but will assist you to maintain and even develop some of what you were able to do at home.
Please note the key areas of care that we provide.
– Residential care for those over 65’s
– Mild Dementia
– Respite and Holiday stay (minimum one week)
– Day Care (limited availability)

Review from Nicola J (Granddaughter) – May 2021
My Grandad moved into Rosemary Lodge two years ago and has loved every minute of it. He loves the room and the staff are all amazing. Last May during the peak of COVID my mom passed away suddenly. The staff were all so helpful, caring and compassionate throughout. They are always at the end of the phone and always have a smile on their faces.
